Lee and Joe Jamail Bay Park offers free public access to Offats Bayou via a well-maintained boat ramp located on the north side of the bridge. The park features paved parking, a paved fishing pier, and several covered picnic tables. A pedestrian bridge connects the ramp area to the park's south side facilities, making this a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats exploring the bay system.
This is a popular spot, particularly on weekends and evenings, so arrive early if you prefer quieter conditions. The park provides good views of the Moody Gardens and sunsets. Note that restroom facilities are limited to porta-potties. The location's proximity to shops and restaurants makes it easy to grab supplies before or after your outing. From here, paddlers can access Offats Bayou and connect to nearby English Bayou across the channel to the south.
