Lemonwier Mills

Lemonweir Mills provides a public boat ramp in Mauston for accessing the Lemonweir River. The concrete ramp can be easy to miss—look for the distinctive rock bluffs in the area, which mark the takeout location near the former dam site. The surrounding millpond area features sandbars and is popular with anglers, making it a good spot to observe fishing activity or scout water conditions before launching.

The Lemonweir River below this point is navigable with generally moderate to slow current, though paddlers should be prepared for obstacles.
