About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Linden Boat Ramp provides public access to the West Branch Susquehanna River at river mile 45.4, located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This launch offers convenient entry to both the main channel and Bender Run, making it a practical put-in point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring the Appalachian region.

**What to Expect**
The ramp provides access to the 652-acre Hepbound Street Dam, a deeper impoundment suitable for various water activities including water-skiing. The West Branch Susquehanna stretches 228 miles total, but the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership divides it into manageable paddling sections for trip planning. Exercise caution when launching or taking out—be mindful of other watercraft using the ramp. Paddlers in this area may encounter historical remnants of the Susquehanna Boom, one of the largest logging booms on the river.

**Planning Your Trip**
This is a good mid-river access point for multi-day paddling trips or day explorations along this scenic water trail. The relatively deep water in the impoundment area makes it accessible for a range of boat types, though paddlers should be prepared for motorboat traffic typical of this section.
