About This Access Site
Located in East Boothbay off Route 96 on Murray Hill Road, the Linekin Bay Boat Ramp provides paved access to Linekin Bay on the Atlantic coast. This ramp is well-maintained and suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. However, plan your launch timing carefully—the ramp is generally unusable for about one hour before and after low tide, so check tide schedules before heading out.

The facility includes docking assistance from May through mid-October, when staff are available from 8am to sundown to help with boat landings and provide other services. This scenic coastal location offers paddlers and boaters access to Linekin Bay's sheltered waters and proximity to nearby recreation areas, including Franklin Island National Wildlife Refuge and Frances Perkins National Monument, making it an excellent base for exploring the Boothbay region.
