About This Access Site
Lions Park in Saint Croix Falls offers a well-maintained boat ramp approximately 20 feet wide, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and other recreational watercraft on the Saint Croix River. This is considered one of the nicest public access points on the river for paddlers and boaters. Access requires a Polk County Park pass, which may provide reciprocal access to other county parks through reciprocity agreements with neighboring counties.

The Saint Croix River at this location is a popular destination for fishing, boating, kayaking, and canoeing, offering scenic views and opportunities for wildlife viewing, including eagles. For trip planning and detailed river information, the National Park Service website provides interactive maps and camping zone information along the Riverway. Paddlers should consult official NPS resources for current conditions and regulations before launching.
