About This Access Site
Little Ball Club Lake is a 185-acre lake located in Ball Club, Itasca County, approximately 18 miles northwest of Deer River. A concrete boat ramp on the southwest side of the lake provides public access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 30 feet and is popular with anglers targeting northern pike, walleye, cisco, perch, and panfish.

The lake is situated east of MN Highway 46 in the scenic Itasca County area near the Chippewa National Forest and Mississippi River Headwaters. Several campgrounds are available within 10 miles, including Tamarack Point Campground and the reservable Cut Foot Horse Campground and Winnie Dam Campground (USACE), making this a convenient spot for multi-day paddling trips. No reservations are required at the boat ramp itself.

A concrete boat ramp provides access to the 660 acre Little Cut Foot Sioux Lake. The lake is east of MN Highway 46. Northern pike, walleye, cisco, perch and other panfish are found in this lake.
