Little Boy Lake

Little Boy Lake is a 1,372-acre lake in Cass County, Minnesota, offering a public boat launch on its south end. The lake has a maximum depth of 74 feet and is suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and boating. Most standard boat ramps here can accommodate 12-18 foot vessels, though some may handle larger boats. Little Boy Lake is part of the Little Boy Chain, which also includes Wabedo, Rice, and Inguadona lakes. While navigation throughout the chain is possible, paddlers and boaters should be aware that shallow water, low bridges, and weed growth in the connecting channels can restrict passage of larger vessels. The narrow channel between Little Boy Lake and Wabedo Lake has limited vertical and horizontal clearance at the highway bridges, so plan accordingly if you intend to explore the chain.
