Little Saint Germain Lake is a 972-acre public access lake in Vilas County offering a public boat landing for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The ramp is somewhat steep but usable for launching most watercraft. With a maximum depth of 53 feet, the lake provides good water conditions for paddling and boating once launched.
The lake supports a healthy fishery including musky, walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers. Located in Saint Germain in northern Wisconsin's lake country, this access point provides a convenient entry to a substantial lake suitable for day trips and longer water recreation. Check local conditions before launching and be prepared for the steeper ramp angle when loading/unloading your boat or kayak.
