Located in Cohasset, Itasca County, this public boat launch provides access to Little Siseebakwet Lake, a 1,210-acre lake known for its exceptional clarity and pristine waters. The lake features a maximum depth of 105 feet and is renowned for its beautiful aquamarine color, making it one of Minnesota's clearest lakes. Most standard boat launches at this site can accommodate 12-18 foot boats, with no launch fees required.
Paddlers and boaters will find excellent conditions for kayaking and canoeing on this scenic northern Minnesota lake. The lake supports northern pike fishing and offers outstanding water quality with 26-foot visibility. For overnight trips, the nearby Pokegama Dam Campground (reservable) is located within 10 miles of the access point. The area is also conveniently positioned near the Mississippi River Headwaters and Pokegama Lake, making it ideal for exploring multiple water bodies in the region.
