Lock No. 5

The Lock No. 5 boat ramp provides access to the Black Warrior River near Greensboro, Alabama. As a major river system, the Black Warrior flows for over 168 miles with an average gradient of 1.1 ft/mile and an average flow rate of over 10,000 cubic feet per second. This large, navigable waterway is suitable for a variety of recreational boating activities.
