About This Access Site
The Lock No 7 West boat ramp provides access to the Black Warrior River in Eutaw, Alabama. This large river has a total length of 168 miles, an elevation range of 182 feet, and an average flow rate of over 10,800 cubic feet per second, making it a substantial waterway for boating and paddling.

The boat ramp area includes a paved parking pad, a boat launch, and a group picnic shelter. An artesian well flows naturally on the property, providing a unique water source. The ramp itself has two lanes to facilitate easy water access. Nearby, visitors can enjoy fishing, wildlife watching, and other recreational activities along the scenic Black Warrior River corridor.
