Long Branch provides a 2-lane boat ramp providing access to Lake Whitney on the Brazos River in Bosque County. The ramp is open year-round with fees charged seasonally (April-September). This is one of three public boat ramps serving Whitney Lake, which also features a dedicated canoe/kayak launch and ample parking for vehicles and trailers.
Lake Whitney offers a scenic, manageable paddling environment with numerous recreational opportunities.
