Long Cove Marina in Narragansett offers a concrete boat ramp set into the gravel lake floor, making it suitable for trailer-launched boats as well as canoes and kayaks. The facility includes parking, a launching ramp, and provides access to both Upper Pond and the ocean beyond. The marina also operates as a full-service facility with 150 trailer sites (32-foot maximum), dockage (24-foot maximum), electricity and water hookups, and a dumping station.
For paddlers specifically, hand-carried kayaks and canoes can be launched at several locations around the pond, with the east side noted as the best spot for hand launches. A kayaking school operates near this location, making it a good option for those seeking instruction. Limited non-seasonal vacancies may be available at the marina if you're planning an extended stay in the area.
