Long Cove Marina

Long Cove Marina is a public boat access point located on the west shore of Cedar Creek Reservoir near Malakoff in Henderson County. The facility features a two-lane paved boat ramp and parking for approximately 40 vehicles, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. The ramp is situated at the north end of the Caney Creek bridge, providing straightforward water access to the reservoir.

**Directions:** From Malakoff, take Texas 31 north and turn onto FM 198. Continue for 3 miles; the ramp will be on your right immediately after crossing the Caney Creek bridge. The location is accessible from both the Kemp area (via Texas 274) and central Malakoff, making it a relatively easy access point for paddlers exploring Cedar Creek Reservoir. As a reservoir setting, expect calm, protected waters suitable for recreational paddling and fishing.
