About This Access Site
The Long Lake Public Access at the Long Lake Recreation Area is the only public boat launch on Long Lake, a 423-acre lake in Manitowoc County with a maximum depth of 47 feet and moderately clear water. The facility features a paved boat ramp with a 7% slope, 3-foot launch depth, and boarding dock, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The site offers ADA-accessible parking and facilities. A daily launch fee of $5 applies, with seasonal passes available for $20.

Long Lake supports diverse fishing opportunities for northern pike, largemouth bass, walleye, perch, white bass, and panfish from both shore and boat, with the lake also popular for ice fishing during winter months. Paddlers can expect moderately clear conditions and moderate-depth water, making it accessible for recreational kayaking and canoeing. Plan your visit accordingly, as this is the sole public access point for the lake.
