About This Access Site
Located in Deerbrook, Langlade County, the Long Lake Public Access at the Long Lake Recreation Area is the only public boat launch on Long Lake. This 423-acre lake features a well-maintained paved boat ramp with a 7% slope and 3-foot launch depth, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. A boarding dock is available to assist with launching and landing. The site offers ADA-accessible facilities, and there is a $5 daily launch fee or $20 seasonal pass option.

Long Lake has a maximum depth of 47 feet and moderately clear water, making it suitable for recreational paddling and fishing. The lake supports a healthy population of panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. Whether you're planning a paddling adventure, fishing trip, or leisurely boat outing, this access point provides convenient, accessible entry to the lake. Plan ahead during peak seasons, as this is the sole public launch point on the water body.
