Located in Deerbrook, Langlade County, the Long Lake Public Access at the Long Lake Recreation Area is the only public boat launch on Long Lake. This 423-acre lake features a well-maintained paved boat ramp with a 7% slope and 3-foot launch depth, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. A boarding dock is available to assist with launching and landing. The site offers ADA-accessible facilities, and there is a $5 daily launch fee or $20 seasonal pass option.
Long Lake has a maximum depth of 47 feet and moderately clear water, making it suitable for recreational paddling and fishing. The lake supports a healthy population of panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. Whether you're planning a paddling adventure, fishing trip, or leisurely boat outing, this access point provides convenient, accessible entry to the lake.
