About This Access Site
The Long Lake Public Access at the Long Lake Recreation Area in Siren is the only public boat launch on Long Lake, making it an essential stop for paddlers and boaters exploring this 3,478-acre water body. The facility features a paved boat ramp with a 7% slope and 3-foot launch depth, along with a boarding dock to assist with launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. ADA-accessible parking and facilities are available, and a daily launch fee of $5 (or $20 seasonal pass) helps maintain the access area.

Long Lake offers excellent recreational opportunities with a maximum depth of 74 feet and diverse fish populations including northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, panfish, and perch. The lake is equally popular with paddlers seeking flat water and anglers fishing from shore or boat, and it's a known ice fishing destination in winter. This location also provides convenient access to the nearby Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway for those interested in exploring the St. Croix and Namekagon rivers.
