Located in Isanti County near the town of Isanti, the Long Lake Northeast access site provides a public boat ramp for paddlers and boaters accessing Long Lake. The 285-acre lake offers a moderate-sized paddling destination with a maximum depth of 33 feet. A concrete ramp with a loading dock and parking area makes launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats straightforward from this northeast access point.
The lake supports populations of northern pike, largemouth bass, and panfish including bluegill, sunfish, and perch, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers. The concrete ramp facility is well-suited for both hand-launched craft and trailered boats. Contact the Isanti County Parks Department or Minnesota DNR for current conditions, seasonal access information, and any specific regulations before your visit.
