**Access & Facilities**
Located on 10th Street NW just off Highway 14 in Vergas, this DNR-assisted boat ramp offers drive-in trailer access with a concrete plank single ramp and roll-in dock. The ramp is situated on the west end of East Loon Lake, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats.
**Lake Character & Recreation**
East Loon Lake is a 1,095-acre water body with 14 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 202 feet, offering ample space for paddling and exploration. The lake is one of the few in the region that permits motorboats, though speeds are limited to 5 mph, creating a calm environment ideal for paddlers. The lake supports a healthy fishery with bluegill, crappie, bass, northern pike, and bullhead. Wildlife viewing opportunities include muskrats, otters, and foxes. With minimal development—only one campsite on the lake—expect a quiet, peaceful paddling experience suitable for weekend trips.
