About This Access Site
Located in Danbury, Burnett County, the Loon Lake boat ramp provides public access to this 327-acre inland lake in northwestern Wisconsin. The ramp is approximately 20 feet wide and accommodates most boat sizes, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. An ADA-compliant dock is available adjacent to the ramp for easier water access.

The lake features a firm, sandy bottom with a maximum depth of 22 feet and moderately clear water conditions. Paddlers can wade out near the boat ramp area, which has a sandy bottom ideal for launching and retrieval. The lake supports populations of panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye, making it popular with anglers and recreational paddlers alike. Parking is available at the access site to accommodate visitors.
