About This Access Site
**Access & Facilities**
Loon Lake Park offers a boat ramp suitable for small boats and canoes, located off Loon Lake Dam Road on the north end of the lake in the Town of Jackson. **Lake Conditions**
Loon Lake is the most accessible inland lake in the area, featuring a firm, sandy bottom—ideal for paddlers. While there is no designated beach, you can wade out near the ramp in shallow water. The sandy substrate makes for pleasant paddling and swimming conditions. The lake accommodates a variety of watercraft including canoes, kayaks, and tubes, making it a popular recreational destination.
