About This Access Site
Lory Lake is a 212-acre lake located on the west side near Braham in northern Isanti County. The public boat access features roadside parking and is suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The launch can accommodate most 12-18 foot boats, making it accessible for a variety of watercraft. There are no launch fees at this access point.

The lake is characterized by low lakeshore development and relatively low water clarity, creating a more natural setting for paddling. Lory is a fertile lake managed primarily for Northern Pike and Largemouth Bass, making it an appealing destination for anglers as well as recreational paddlers. The quiet, undeveloped shoreline provides a peaceful paddling experience for both beginners and experienced boaters.
