About This Access Site
Lost Bridge West provides boat ramp access to Salamonie Lake, a 2,665-acre recreational lake in Huntington County near Andrews, Indiana. This is a non-reservable, day-use facility ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. A fish cleaning station is located nearby, and a marina with campstore are adjacent to the modern campground facilities in the area.

Salamonie Lake offers excellent opportunities for paddling, fishing, and boating across its expansive summer pool. The recreation area includes multiple access points with beaches, docks, and additional boat ramps distributed around the lake. Visitors should note that quiet hours run from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The surrounding 12,554 acres of land feature diverse wildlife habitat including ponds, marshes, and wetlands, making it a scenic destination for nature-oriented recreation.
