Located in Gilbert, St. Louis County, the Lost Lake boat ramp provides convenient access to a 107-acre lake in northern Minnesota's scenic forest region. The ramp features a 16-foot-wide concrete surface suitable for small to medium-sized watercraft, including kayaks, canoes, and jon boats. A gravel parking lot accommodates 10-12 vehicles with trailers, with additional parking available along the road nearby.
Lost Lake offers clear water with a maximum depth of 44 feet, making it ideal for paddling and fishing. The lake is home to panfish and provides a peaceful paddling experience away from heavy motorized traffic. Amenities at the ramp include a picnic pavilion with tables, a grill, trash receptacles, and a restroom facility. Note that potable water and electric hookups are not available at the ramp itself, though a nearby camping area with 15 campsites offers additional recreational opportunities.
