Lotus Park in Osceola offers convenient public access to 246-acre Lotus Lake via a single-lane concrete boat ramp. The ramp has a depth of less than 3 feet at the launch point, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and smaller boats. The facility includes a boarding dock and off-road parking, along with a portable restroom for visitor convenience.
The 18-acre park provides amenities beyond water access, including picnic areas, a shelter, hiking trails, and a playground—making it a good option for a full day outing. Lotus Lake has a maximum depth of 15 feet and supports populations of panfish, largemouth bass, and northern pike. Note that the East Lake Fishery Area is actively managed to protect lotus beds, which are the only ones in the area and serve as a primary spawning habitat, so paddlers should be respectful of designated protected zones.
