Lower Caney Lake Recreation Area

Located near Pace in Webster Parish, the Lower Caney Lake Boat Launch provides convenient access to Caney Lake, a scenic reservoir nestled in the piney woods outside Minden. The facility features a boat ramp and dock, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. A sandy beach and swimming area (seasonal) are also available nearby, and the ski beach area is easily accessible from the parking lot. An activity pass is required to use this Recreation.gov facility, which can be reserved in advance.
