**Location & Access**
The Lower Genesee Lake boat ramp is located in Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. To reach it, take I-94 West toward Madison, exit at WI-67 S toward Dousman, then turn right onto Genesee Lake Road where the access point will be on your right.
**Lake Characteristics**
Lower Genesee Lake is a 63-acre lake with a maximum depth of 45 feet, offering good conditions for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating. The lake supports populations of panfish, largemouth bass, and northern pike. As this is the only public boat launch on the lake, plan accordingly during peak season. Note that the parking area is intended for vehicles launching watercraft; consider carpooling to ensure adequate parking availability for boat access.
**Important Reminders**
Before launching, check for any posted ordinances at the ramp, as local boating regulations may apply. Be aware of other lake users including divers, fishermen, and boaters. The Village of Summit has specific ordinances restricting certain vehicle operations on its lakes, so familiarize yourself with any applicable local rules before your visit.
