About This Access Site
Located in Star Prairie, Polk County, this public boat ramp provides convenient access to Lower Pine Lake with a paved launch and dock facility. The site features handicapped-accessible amenities including an accessible ramp, designated parking for 4 boat trailers and 2 cars, and a picnic area. A solar-powered camera system monitors boat traffic to help prevent aquatic invasive species violations. The facility is open seasonally, with the parking area plowed during winter for ice fishing access.

This is an ideal launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters exploring Lower Pine Lake. For paddlers interested in extended trips, note that the Lower St. Croix District encompasses primitive, Leave No Trace campsites along the St. Croix River reach, though an annual camping permit is required.
