Lower Twin Lakes

Located in Rathdrum in Kootenai County, Idaho, the Lower Twin Lakes Boat Ramp provides convenient access to Lower Twin Lake and a channel connecting to Middle Twin Lake. This concrete ramp with adjacent gravel parking accommodates approximately nine vehicles with boat trailers, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and other non-motorized watercraft. The facility includes a boat dock for easy launching and landing.

Before launching, all boaters must display a valid Idaho Invasive Species Fund (IISF) sticker to help protect the lakes from aquatic invasive species. The ramp's northeast shore location near the Lower Twin Lakes Campground area makes it a practical base for day trips or longer paddling adventures across both Lower and Middle Twin Lakes. The site also supports fishing activities, offering good access to the shoreline and surrounding waters.
