About This Access Site
The Lucerne Lake boat ramp in Crandon provides public access to this 1,039-acre Forest County lake. With a maximum depth of 73 feet and notably clear water, Lucerne Lake offers excellent conditions for kayaking and canoeing. The lake supports a healthy fishery including panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, trout, and walleye, making it popular with anglers as well as paddlers.

Richardson Lake Campground is located nearby (approximately 10 miles away via Highway 52) and offers 26 reservable campsites on Richardson Lake's south shore, complete with a sandy swim beach and picnic areas. The campground can be reached from Wabeno by heading north on Highway 32 to Highway 52, then west 2.4 miles to Richardson Lake Road.
