About This Access Site
Luhr's Landing, located at Luhr Beach on Nisqually Reach near Olympia, is a public boat access point managed by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The site features a paved boat launch with a loading platform at the top of the ramp and ample parking available. **Note:** A Discover Pass is required for vehicle parking at this WDFW-managed facility.

The access point serves as a gateway to Nisqually Reach, a tidal estuary area. Paddlers and boaters should be aware that this reach features significant hazards and is influenced by tidal conditions typical of Puget Sound waters. The nearby Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge protects important fish and wildlife habitat in the area, and the adjacent Nisqually Reach Nature Center offers educational resources about the local ecosystem.

**Access:** From I-5 Exit 114, head west on Martin Way NE (1.1 miles), then north on Meridian Road (2.7 miles), east on 46th Ave NE (0.25 miles), and follow signs north on D'Milluhr Drive SE to the access area (approximately 0.5 miles).
