Rice Lake , Lum Park State Water Access Site

**Location & Access**
Lum Park provides public boat access to Rice Lake in Brainerd, Crow Wing County. The park features a boat ramp suitable for small to medium-sized vessels (12-18 feet), though larger boats may experience difficulty due to the ramp's relatively narrow width. There are no motor restrictions on the lake. Parking is available on the western side of the park near the launch area, and the ramp is accessible year-round during most weather conditions.

This 38-acre park is well-equipped for a full day of recreation. Amenities include restrooms, picnic shelters, grills, a playground, and additional facilities like disc golf, sand volleyball courts, and an RV campground with 18 sites. The park is particularly popular with canoeists and kayakers during spring and summer months, and attracts waterfowl hunters in the fall. Seasonal canoe and kayak rentals are available through the park office.
