Located in Waterford Township, Oakland County, the Maceday Lake boat ramp provides public access to this 419-acre lake via a concrete ramp that is 20 feet wide. The facility includes dedicated parking for cars and trailers, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The lake has a maximum depth of 17 feet, offering relatively shallow conditions for various water activities.
Paddlers and boaters should be aware that trailer parking is limited at this Michigan DNR access point. Once the parking lot reaches capacity, no additional boats will be launched until current users depart. This is a designated Type C trout lake, making it popular with anglers as well. The ramp is located on the north side of Williams Lake Road, approximately 160 yards past the road intersection. Plan your visit accordingly during peak season to ensure parking availability.
