The Madison Lake East access site is a modernized public boat launch on the eastern shore of Madison Lake, a scenic 1,447-acre lake in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. The recently upgraded facility features two launch ramps with new docks, accessible parking, and a designated lane for aquatic invasive species management and boat-trailer tie-down. With a maximum depth of 59 feet, Madison Lake accommodates a variety of watercraft, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, motorboats, fishing boats, and sailboats.
This DNR-managed access point provides reliable launch infrastructure with modern facilities designed for safe and convenient water access. The lake's size and depth make it well-suited for both casual paddling and fishing expeditions. Boaters should note the dedicated AIS management lane and plan accordingly when launching or retrieving vessels.
