About This Access Site
Maggie Lake is a 22-acre freshwater lake in Mason County, Washington, offering public boat access via a dedicated ramp near Tahuya. The lake sits at an elevation of 353 feet and provides good shoreline access for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. The access area is open year-round, though vehicle access to the ramp is limited to the period from the 4th Saturday in April through October 31, making spring through fall the primary seasons for launching.

The lake is stocked with rainbow trout and is popular with anglers, making it a good destination for recreational paddling and fishing trips. With one parking lot on-site, the facility is modest but functional for day trips. Paddlers should note that hand launches are not available, so this site is best suited for those with vehicles capable of accessing the boat ramp. The relatively small size of the lake makes it ideal for beginner to intermediate paddlers seeking a calm, scenic paddling experience.
