About This Access Site

Located near Maud in Bowie County, this access point is situated uplake near the Sulphur River channel, making it convenient for paddlers and boaters exploring that section of the lake. The facility is part of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property managed for water supply and flood control on the Sulphur River system. The campground itself is reservable year-round and offers full camping facilities for visitors planning extended trips.
