**Location & Access**
Located in Montello, Marquette County, this boat ramp provides access to the Grand River's Main Impoundment section. The site is situated on the expansive Grand River, which experiences heavy recreational use, particularly during spring fish runs.
**Current Conditions & Nearby Recreation**
Please note that water levels in the impoundment are subject to fluctuation due to dam operations and maintenance activities. Before visiting, check current conditions with the Wisconsin DNR, as water levels may be too low for launching at certain times. The nearby Fox River National Wildlife Refuge (1,054 acres) offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The Upper Fox River system also features additional DNR-operated boat launches for those seeking alternative access points.
