About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Manatts Landing is a public boat ramp located on the west side of Highway 63 on the south edge of Tama in Tama County. This convenient access point puts you right on the Iowa River just outside of town, making it an easy stop for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats.

**Paddling Opportunities**
From Manatts Landing, paddlers have over 7 miles of river to explore downstream to Longpoint Landing to the east. This section of the Iowa River offers a scenic paddling corridor through central Iowa. The ramp provides a good starting point for day trips or longer excursions along this stretch of the river.

**Planning Your Visit**
Before heading out, check current water conditions and flow levels on the Iowa River, as these can vary seasonally. Contact local Tama County parks or recreation departments for information about parking availability, facility amenities, and any applicable fees or permits required for launching.
