**Location & Access:** Manuel Lisa is a carry-in boat launch located near Custer, Montana, at the confluence of the Bighorn River and Yellowstone River. This is a popular put-in and take-out point for paddlers and boaters accessing the Bighorn River.

**Facilities & Amenities:** The site offers a boat launch suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small watercraft. Camping is available with multiple tent sites and RV access (trailers up to 40 feet). Basic facilities include toilets, though potable water is not available. A 7-day stay limit applies to campers. Note that the ramp has experienced recent flood damage; check current conditions before your visit, as repairs may affect access. The site is heavily used by outfitters and serves as a termination point for upper Bighorn River floaters.

**What to Expect:** This is an excellent access point for float trips on the scenic Bighorn River. The area offers good opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing near the river confluence. The site experiences heavy use, particularly during peak seasons, so arriving early is recommended if you need a camping spot.
