About This Access Site
The Maple Lake (West) boat ramp provides public access to Upper Maple Lake, a 739-acre lake in Wright County, Minnesota. This west-side launch is suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats, with most ramps accommodating 12-18 foot boats. The lake offers scenic surroundings and has a maximum depth of 76 feet, making it suitable for various water activities including fishing and recreational boating.

Paddlers and boaters should note that the lake features several amenities, including a fishing pier on the east side and four bump-outs in the southwest corner for added access. Boat rentals and fishing supplies are available at the Boating Center if needed. There are no launch fees unless accessing the site requires a vehicle permit. For current conditions or updates on access availability, check the Minnesota DNR's Lake Finder tool.
