Maple Leaf Lake Conservation Area in Higginsville offers a public boat ramp on the west side of the lake, making it a convenient access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. The facility includes an accessible parking lot and amenities such as fishing docks and restrooms (privy). The lake is named for its distinctive leaf shape and provides a scenic setting for paddling and fishing.

**Access & Directions:** Located in Lafayette County, the ramp can be reached from the junction of Highway 13 and I-70 by taking South I-70 Outer Access Road west for 3 miles. The main access road was recently reopened following maintenance, restoring full public access to the boat ramp and parking facilities.
