About This Access Site
The Marblemount Boat Launch provides convenient access to the Skagit River near the town of Marblemount, about 40 miles east of Sedro-Woolley on WA-20. This concrete ramp accommodates both motorized and non-motorized watercraft, including kayaks and canoes. The launch features ample gravel parking for 40+ vehicles with dedicated boat trailer parking. A Washington State Discover Pass is required to park at the facility. From the highway, watch for the sharp bend in WA-20 near Marblemount; continue straight onto Cascade River Road and turn right immediately after crossing the Skagit River bridge to reach the main parking area.

Beyond the boat ramp, the site offers scenic value with short hiking trails leading to viewpoints overlooking both the Cascade and Skagit Rivers. A secondary parking area to the east provides alternative access to the trail system. The area is particularly popular during winter months (December–February) when bald eagle viewing opportunities draw visitors. Restroom facilities are available on-site. For paddlers planning an extended visit, Marble Creek Campground is located nearby and offers reservable campsites. The Marblemount launch is ideal for fishing trips, nature viewing excursions, and whitewater rafting adventures along this section of the Skagit River.
