About This Access Site
This state-owned boat ramp off Annawanscutt Drive provides convenient access to the west side of Mount Hope Bay and is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The ramp features linked concrete planks with approximately 2 feet of water at mean low water, and a recently dredged 4-foot-deep channel extends from the ramp end to deeper water, improving launch and landing conditions. One dock provides a fully ADA-compliant accessible route from the parking area to the water, making this site inclusive for paddlers of varying abilities.

**Navigation Tips:** When launching or returning, proceed straight in and out of the ramp to avoid rocky areas on both sides of the channel. From this location, paddlers can explore northward along the shoreline toward Bristol Narrows and the mouth of the Kickemuit River. The site also offers access to nearby Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and is positioned well for day trips or longer paddles around the bay. Refer to NOAA Chart 13221 for navigation planning.
