The Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond, California provides excellent access to San Francisco Bay for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters. The marina offers a low-freeboard ADA-accessible dock with a kayak assist and SUP handrails, making it easy to launch and land your craft.
The protected inner harbor basin offers a calm, sheltered area for paddling, shielded from the bay's often-windy conditions. Nearby, the 510 Waterline concessionaire offers stand-up paddleboard rentals and lessons. With 850 total slips, the full-service marina can accommodate a wide range of boat sizes up to 120 feet.
From the parking area, it's about a 150-yard walk to reach the boat ramp and docks. This makes the site well-suited for those with lightweight, cartable boats. The large breakwater provides additional shelter from wind and waves, creating ideal conditions for paddlers and small boaters to explore the East Bay's beautiful shoreline and nearby destinations like Brooks Island.
