Marina Point Lane

Marina Point Lane boat ramp provides access to Smith Mountain Lake, a popular recreational reservoir in southwestern Virginia. The ramp is located in Union Hall, Franklin County, and is well-suited for launching kayaks, canoes, and small trailered boats.

The boat ramp is located beside a small store and lakeside motel. There is a pay-to-launch fee for use of the ramp. The lake covers over 20,000 acres and features a maximum depth of 250 feet, providing ample room to explore coves, inlets, and the main channel. Boaters will find excellent opportunities for water skiing, fishing, and cruising the lake's calm, uncrowded waters.
