Marine Creek

Located on the southeast side of Marine Creek Lake near the intersection of IH-820 Access Road and Marine Creek Parkway in Fort Worth, this free, year-round public boat ramp provides convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The ramp is situated in an urban setting with ample parking available and is part of a larger recreation area that includes over six miles of paved trails around the lake.

Marine Creek Lake is a small urban impoundment with native emergent vegetation along much of the shoreline, making it an accessible paddling destination for beginners and casual paddlers. The lake features submerged structure including a dam with riprap on the western shore and an old roadbed off the west side ramp, which can affect navigation. Paddlers should be aware of these underwater features when planning routes, particularly near the boat ramps.

This access point works well for short recreational paddles, fishing, or as a launch point for exploring the lake's shoreline. The surrounding Trinity Trails system and park amenities make it a good option for combining water activities with walking, running, or biking.
