About This Access Site
Mariners Resort provides direct access to the shores of scenic Eagle Lake near Susanville, California. This informal boat launch site is suitable for launching small boats, kayaks, and canoes, though access may be limited during periods of low water levels.

The launch area is located on the west shore of Rocky Point, a short distance off Highway 139. While there are no developed facilities beyond basic parking, paddlers and boaters can access the lake directly from the shoreline. Keep in mind this is a self-contained, undeveloped site, so there are no amenities like potable water or trash removal available.

Eagle Lake is a large alpine lake situated at over 5,100 feet in elevation within the Lassen National Forest. Its remote location and sprawling size make it a popular destination for anglers, kayakers, and other water sports enthusiasts looking to enjoy the stunning natural scenery of northeastern California. Boaters should exercise caution and be prepared for changing conditions on this sizeable water body.
