About This Access Site
Marl Lake County Park offers a public boat launch on the east shore of Marl Lake, a 28-acre waterbody in Waushara County near Wautoma. The park's facilities include a boat ramp, restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, and grills, making it a convenient access point for paddlers and boaters. The 24-acre wooded park is owned by the township and leased to Waushara County.

Marl Lake reaches a maximum depth of 35 feet and features moderately clear water, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The lake holds panfish, largemouth bass, and northern pike. Paddlers should note that electricity is not available at the park. As with all Wisconsin waterways, visitors should check for any local boating regulations posted at the launch, which may be more restrictive than state law. The nearby Ice Age National Scenic Trail offers additional recreation opportunities in the area.
