Marshfield Dam

Marshfield Dam provides public access to Mollys Falls Reservoir via a concrete boat ramp maintained by Vermont Fish and Wildlife at the northwest end of the access area. The ramp is suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and trailer boats. This is a day-use facility with minimal development—expect a simple, undeveloped setting rather than amenities like restrooms or concessions.

The reservoir was created in the late 1920s by a hydropower dam at the western end of the impoundment, which is owned by Green Mountain Power Company. The access area also features two fishing platforms for shore-based anglers. The site is located along U.S. Route 2 in Marshfield, making it readily accessible by vehicle. This is a good launching point for paddlers looking to explore the calm waters of the reservoir.
