About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Marsing Access is located 4–4.5 miles southeast of the town of Marsing on the south side of the Snake River, off South Bruneau Highway. This site provides day-use-only access to the Snake River and serves as an important alternate launch point when other nearby ramps (such as Celebration Park) are seasonally closed.

**River Character & Conditions:** The Snake River at this location is a major river system with significant flow—averaging nearly 50,000 cubic feet per second—and moderate gradient of approximately 15.8 feet per mile. Paddlers should expect strong current and be prepared for a powerful waterway. The river's substantial size and velocity make it suitable for experienced boaters and paddlers comfortable with moving water.

**Practical Information:** Day use only at this site. Much of the surrounding area is private property, so please respect all posted signs and property markers. Pack out all trash and waste. This location is one of several access points in the region; nearby alternatives include Walters Ferry, Map Rock, and Swan Falls. For current conditions or seasonal closures, check with local management before your visit.
